Practical information

How to arrive to Fouesnant:  map

The easiest is to go to QUIMPER. There will be a bus expecting participants on Sunday June 19 at Quimper Train Station at 19:30.

1.  By train:
From Paris to Quimper, see the TGV site http://www.tgv.com/.

2.  By plane:
There is an airport in Quimper (see http://www.quimper.aeroport.fr/). The unique connection is with Paris-Orly. If you arrive in Paris at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle you will have to take a shuttle (see http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/fr-fr/Passagers/accueil/, about 20 euros) to go to Orly.
This is a little bit boring if you have big luggages. Arriving at Quimper airport, you have to take a taxi either to go to fouesnant or to go to Quimper train station.

3.  By car:
See : http://www.mappy.com.

An Alternative way is to arrive at BREST. There are more airplane connections from Brest with England (low cost) or Paris-Roissy. See http://www.brest.aeroport.fr/fr/. There, you can take a shuttle to reach the center of Brest  (about 5 euros and 20 minutes).

  1. There is a Bus from Brest to Quimper (see http://www.viaoo29.fr/index.php/viaoo29/ only in french, then click "horaire" choose "Réseau Penn Ar Bed" and finaly line 01). On sunday there are only two bus from Brest to Quimper (09:30 and 14:15).
  2. You can also take a train from Brest to Quimper (choose "TER Bretagne" in "Horaire" from the viaoo page).
