Short biography

Emanuel Radoi is currently Professor in Signal Processing at Université de Bretagne Occidentale (Brest, France) and a member of the Communications research team of Lab-STICC. Since 2015 he has also been Deputy Director for the UBO site of this CNRS affiliated research unit (UMR 6285).

Emanuel Radoi graduated in Radar Systems from the Military Technical Academy of Bucharest, in 1992. In 1997 he received a M.Sc. degree, in Electronic Engineering, and in 1999 a Ph.D. degree in Signal Processing, both from Université de Bretagne Occidentale. He has been an IEEE Senior Member since 2014 and Associate Editor of IEEE Communications Letters since 2018.

Emanuel Radoi first conducted research on time-frequency analysis, superresolution radar imagery and automatic target recognition. His main research interests currently include, but not limited to UWB signal processing, cognitive radio and sparse signal processing.
